July 30 Update:
Dear Members and Friends of Jemez Springs community Presbyterian Church.
The Service of Witness to the Resurrection and Celebration of Life of our beloved Brother-in-Christ, Rob Mohr, will be held at the church this Saturday, August 1st, 2026, at 11:00AM. Rob’s family requests the honor and comfort of your presence at the service in the upper sanctuary, followed by a catered lunch reception in Fellowship Hall downstairs..
Rob was, and is, loved deeply and widely in the Jemez Valley community and beyond. Please share this invitation to the service to your circle of friends who knew and loved Rob.
Let us hold one another in tender care as we remember, honor, celebrate, and give thanks to the life of Rob together at his beloved church.

On Monday, July 20, Rob was struck by an automobile while on his motorcycle on Hwy 4 and passed away. He is dearly missed.
At this time, his work can be seen at the Jemez Fine Art Gallery. Any additional memorial service information will be added to this newsletter which will be posted on the website.

Rob Mohr is originally from the hill country of Texas and moved to Albuquerque in 1958, before highways 25 and 40 existed. He used to take 4 th St. to Santa Fe and Taos, and Rte. 66 was it! He went to Collet Park, Jackson Jr. High, Sandia High and UNM. Rob learned fishing and photography from his grandfather and has stuck with it all these years. He was a professional musician for years, then ended up in the car business (supposedly until he found a real job!). He retired 37 years later from Montano Acura. His photography is of land- and stream-scapes. Rob moved to Jemez Springs full time 15 years ago, where we do live in the most beautiful part of the Southwest. Most of his photographs have been printed on canvas and they reflect the spectacular views that we live in. Fall is especially beautiful here.
